Overview
S.V.VIDYADANA TRUST: TIRUPATI.
The Board of Trustees, T.T.Ds., in its Res.No.95, dt: 27-4-08 resolved to sanction scholarships to meritorious students below poverty line to overcome the hurdles in prosecuting higher studies to 1,000 students in every academic year till post-graduation commencing from the academic year 2008-09 subject to the following.....
conditions:
1. The applicant should have secured not less than 500 marks in S.S.C./O.S.S.C Public examination in A.P. State.
2. The Scholarship is applicable only to students studied in schools of Govt/Zilla Parishad /Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Private aided/and T.T.D. Schools.
3. The applicant should be below poverty line as per A.P.State Govt. issued from time to time.

4. For continuation of scholarship in every academic year till post-graduation, the applicant should necessary adhere to the attendance and marks prescribed by the Trust from time to time.
Accordingly, notifications was issued in all leading dailies both in Telugu and English inviting applications for the grant of scholarships to students passed S.S.C./O.S.S.C, 2009-10 with not less than 500 marks from the academic year 2009-10, fixing the last date as 30-09-2010. In response totally 3649 applications were received before the specified date. The list was prepared in a descending order. All eligible applicants upto (inclusive) 520 marks numbering 1021 was provisionally selected. So far, an mount of Rs. 35,85,600 was released from the funds of S.V.Vidya Dana Trust, Tirupati, to 996 students from out of 1021, who fulfilled the conditions stipulated, being the scholarship amounts for the financial year 2009-10 at Rs. 300/- per month per head and the amounts was credited to the respective individual student’s Bank On-line accounts.
S.V.Vidya Dana Trust, Tirupati, is a registered body, and the donors are eligible for Income Tax exemption under relevant provisions of the Income Tax Act.

TTD has resolved to sanction of an amount of Rs.300/- per month limited to 1000 students Below Poverty line Who secure 500 marks and above in SSC from the academic year 2007-2008
1.The scholarship will only be applicable to the meritorious students, below the poverty line studying any Government / Municipal /Zillaparishth / private aided and TTD High Schools. The said students should have secured the marks of 500 and above in SSC examinations of 2007-2008.
2. This Scholarship will not be applicable to the students of any residential or social welfare Schools with attached hostels, corporate schools and private unaided schools.
3. The total no. of scholarships to be sanctioned per academic year is limited to 1000 (one thousand) only with a progressive total of scholarships from 2007-2008 starting with Inter to P.G.Level as detailed below…
a) If the above scholarship recipient students secure 85% of marks in Intermediate Education, they will be given the said scholarship for their Degree Education also.
b) If the above Degree students of TTD scholarship recipients secure 70% of marks in Science subjects and 60 % of marks in arts groups and Professional courses, they will continue to receive the above scholarship for Post Graduate degree education including the professional courses till their completion of P.G. Degree education.
4. The merit list of students seeking scholarships, who secured 500 marks and above in their SSC Examination is to be prepared on the descending order based on order of merit i.e., 600-599-598…and so on.
5. This scheme is applicable to the real meritorious students who are not receiving any scholarship of Government / private / other service organization or any other financial sources.
6. The sanction of scholarships after 1st quarter of the academic year, may be permitted strictly in accordance with the general condition of 70% of attendance compulsory as in the case of Government.
7. The students who fulfill the above conditions may send their application through the principals concerned, enclosing the following documents
a)S.S.C.marks list;
b) Income certificate issued by a officer not below the rank of Tahsildar
c) Applicable ration card and
d) study Certificate
